Fashion Democracy

Fashion is one of the largest influence that really creates a big impact in peoples lives. Some make it for a living, some does for fun and some use it as a way to express oneself. The common perspective of people about fashion is coutures, runways, expensive clothing brands, etc. They think that to able to achieve “fashion” is through dressing up to reach everyones expectation. None of those are true.

Fashion, whether you like it or not is a part of each and everyone’s lives. It is our way of show casing ourselves in various ways. Fashion always depends on the wearer/designer, we wear clothes in our own way and not let the clothes wear us. What makes fashion is YOU. There many questions that runs in every peoples minds that is full of What if’s,hey! you’ll never know unless you try. Everyday as we face a new day filled with surprises, we ought to face it with a smile, if you failed this time then maybe next time you’ll try harder to succeed. Same with fashion, everyday we face a day of having trouble on what to wear, we stare at our closets wondering what suits best for the whole day, our body type and also the weather. Then I tell you this-WEAR YOU!

If you’re into simple like tees and jeans then go for it! and if you’re a little preppy for dress or skirts then go! No one’s stopping you. Who says I can’t be a princess today and be a rock star tomorrow? Who says I can’t my converse under my dress.  Fashion is all about breaking the rules! Now, that’s what I call Fashion Democracy. But in a good way though. For me, Fashion is truly a way of expressing oneself. Peoples feelings/moods may reflect on how they dress, feeling happy? Then expect bright colors, feeling disappointed? Dark shades is up. Don’t underestimate the colors that people wear also how they wear it cause you’ll know more about their personality through it.

You don’t belong? Who says so?! I believe that people is living in fashion their entire lives, they just don’t know it. You can’t judge a person if he/she has fashion with in or not cause FYI he/she does, sometimes, they just don’t feel like it or they are just shy to show it. Your sweater and denim is already a fashion, some people just wore it the right way and some people doesn’t even care what the result is like and that what makes the boundaries people are experiencing in them. Truly fashion is for you to be comfortable and feel wonderful on what your wearing but that doesn’t means sweat shirt and gym pants are your everyday clothing. You need to have respect to yourself especially the body God gave you. If God blessed you with a hour glass body why waste your blessing by wearing sweat shirts all the time! If you have longs legs-which I’m praying to have. Wear appropriate clothing that emphasize your legs in a good way. And if you happen to have a plus-size body, don’t push yourself wearing sizes that smaller than your normal size cause it will make you look bigger. There are various good ways to enjoy God’s blessing and also we shouldn’t put it to waste, we shouldn’t abuse these blessings though.

Not every clothing is for every body type, not every fashion style is for every fashionista, and if the trends are too much of what you wanted, remember, you can always leave it at the hanger and walk away. Now that too is fashion democracy.

Inspiration or Infatuation?

Recently I went to a team building event together with my brothers and other friends. There were people whom I saw for the first time and one of them is this guy-who I find cute,well-built,and tall-but older than me(I’m sure of that, I just don’t know what’s his age exactly.) He has a little brother-whom I find just hmm ok, he’s not as well-built like his older brother though- that I think is still older than me-but not far-but I still find his big brother cuter :P anyways, since it’s a team building, it’s expected to have two teams having a contest to who will finish the whole obstacle course in a shorter time.

Ok! Off to the teams, the people who are in-charge of the team building made two team- Red vs. Blue. They hand out t-shirts to us to know which team you belong and if you got a red t-shirt that means your in red team and vice versa. Sadly, the older brother was in red team and so that means I’m in the same team with his younger brother together with one of my brother.

As the game starts I found his little brother amusing because of his good reflexes, because he’s thin his weight doesn’t affect him much so no problem for him when it comes to balancing unlike the others who falls easily to the mud because they can’t keep their balance. While it isn’t my turn yet in this one obstacle I secretly stared at him without him even knowing(duh!? That’s why it’s “secretly”!) then I suddenly realize that he doesn’t look that bad well, he really doesn’t look that bad the first time I saw him, his also cute but I just find his older brother cuter. I just now appreciate his good looks haha actually he even look liked someone I used to like, well, actually that “someone” is my inspiration in dancing, he is my co-dancer before at our church, his name is John. He’s a very very good dancer, I must say, even if his a guy his flexibility is way beyond my ability!-How awesome is that!?. Anyways, going back to the younger brother. As our team building nearly come to an end I find him more and more amusing, As an excuse I just thought that his elder brother may have a girlfriend-how can a well-built,and cute guy like him not have a girlfriend. So, I think you can say that I chose the little brother in the end, but I’m not so sure if my likes for him is because of who he really is base on his performance during our team building or is it because that he looks like John. I saw him texting after the team building though, maybe he does have a girlfriend or maybe not!? There will always be a mystery in everything.

My Own Free Space

As of this day, I now have my own free space where I can say anything I want, unlike before all I do is post “photos”. Now, I can start blogging-as in “blogging” with words not photos. I’ve created some blogs before but it’s just in a page and I’ve just transferred them here-which is now my official “blog” page. So that I can continue “blogging” with words. Finally! I have a place where I can express myself, from various experiences and happenings that I encounter.

On this page, expect to see various genres of blogs because I’ll blog whatever I experience or whatever is on my mind like from daily lifestyle, fashion inspirations/style, dance inspirations, hot guys(I know, I know! but I just need to include it in case I can’t tell anyone I’ve seen one :P) and many more. I can’t wait to start blogging about what’s on my mind. Till my next blog.

Stand, Bow, Bye! :)

Call Carly, Maybe?

Kinda sounds familiar? You guessed it right! Its from the hit song “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen which reach almost over 218 million views and still counting on Youtube. Canadian Carly existed ever since November 21, 1985. Carly was part of Canadian Idol and had placed third on its 5th season.

Wanna know more about Carly Rae Jepsen? HERE

Well, The main reason I created this blog is because I was in love, in love with Carly, in love with her make-up, her looks, her voice, her everything. Looks weird huh? A girl fell in love with another girl, kinda tomboy haha but hey! As long as I have no intentions of marrying her, I’m safe! Right? =)

Back in China me and my friends sang “Call Me Maybe” most of the time as a joke to our friend for some sorts of reason then after a while I was hit by this syndrome called Last Song Syndrome [LSS] and every time I do absolutely nothing, the lyrics just come out right through my mouth. When I came back to Manila, I started watching and listening to her music video and then finally download the song to my phone. Whenever I feel like listening to some songs, Call Me Maybe is my first choice of song haha actually, even in my laptop, when I blog, tweet or browse at my FB, I listen to this song. It’s girly, cute, sassy, quirky, fun AND! I can relate to it, that’s why I never get tired of listening to it.

Hey I just met you and this crazy so, here’s my number just call me, maybe?

Happy Mother’s Day!

Since its Mother’s day. Me and my brothers planned to buy a Mother’s Day cake for our mom, we planned to buy a blueberry cake in BreadTalk. But as we arrive at BreadTalk they said that all of their cakes is sold out so, I was kinda worried.

I told my mom that we should go to Victory Malate and attend the last service which is 6pm, because the series for this month is aboout family so I want my mom to hear about.
Anyways, We arrive at Vito Cruz quite early, my mom said that she needs to buy some medicine so we went to Mercury Drugs Store and bought some medicine. After that I told my mom that I want to check something out in Red Ribbon. As we went in my mom suddenly crave for Sylvannas its a polvoron-look-a-like but the inside difference, it has a cream inside. Wonder what it taste like? Anyways, we arrive at Victory Malate still quite early. So we were able to sit in front for a better view.As the praise and worship starts I told my mom that I would go to the powder room but instead I used it as an excuse to buy a box of Sylvanna for her which supposedly a cake but all there’s left is black forest and we’re used to eating it so I just bought Sylvanna instead and as I got back from Red Ribbon, I surprised her by giving the Sylvanna and at the same time greeting her Happy Mother’s Day.

Look at these wonderful kids! Performing for all the moms at Victory Malate :)

Once again, Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms! I love you Mama :)

Want Some?

I entitled this “Want some?” because on that day something reminded me of Tyra Bangs’ show America’s Next Top Model (ANTM) and in the intro she said these words so I chose it as my title.

My dear friend Coralie[Mei-Mei] tried a new make-up style she learned from the net, If i wasn’t mistaken it was a Lea Michelle inspired make-up that she did. She even wrote it down in a small paper all the instructions-too bad, I didn’t took a picture of it- funny! but in-a-way smart! for a 13yrs old girl already up for such things. Here’s a photo she took with my phone [Sorry for the low quality]

After she took this picture I laughed so hard because of something I saw. I pointed to her the woman at the back looking at her while she was taking this pic and as expected we had the same impression :)))))

Instead of drinking my usual order of hot tea every performance or some 7-Up, I chose this as my beverage on that day. It’s not pure red wine though, it has mixed Virgin Blue in it. The wine wasn’t that good compare to the red wine that I had before. Didn’t feel anything after drinking this.

Saw the red thingy floating on top?? That’s the red wine. My dear friend made this. First, she poured Virgin Blue and poured the red wine and as you can see the red wine didn’t mix with the soda, it just floats on top of it. After seeing this, there I told myself that red wine is lighter than soda but not until my friend mix it many times, there, the wine finally mix with the soda :)
If you like, you try it out for yourself, make an experiment about it. :)

Flower Power

This blog is inspire by Camille Co . We all know her as a Fashion blogger and a Fashion designer, this blog of mine may have nothing related to fashion but still it’s a blog. I just want to experience blogging. I’ll just be an ordinary blogger, who blogs randomly. So here it goes.

I just had my recent trip to China with my co-dancers. Even though weeks had gone I still have this hangover and for me to never forget this amazing trip I create this blog.
This blog is entitled “Flower Power”. The “Flower” symbolizes my friends because of their beauty inside-and-out and the “Power” symbolizes the bond that we gain during the tour. Also, it is inspired with all the beautiful flowers I saw back in China.

As the photo seen above. This was one of the nights that we had fun together outside the dorm.

[Guess who’s who!?]

I call this photo HALL OF FRIENDS. It sounds corny but hey! as long as it symbolize friends, nothing matters!! :)

Here’s a photo taken with our loving Laoshi [she’s the one wearing red inside her jacket]

In this trip we had, there’s fun, laughter, jokes, bad girls, tears, drama, regrets, love couples, misunderstandings, pride, Love and etc.
There was really a lot of happenings that even I, myself couldn’t catch up with but still I manage to enjoyed it though :)
Wish I could come to next year’s tour. [I heard rumors that the venue will be at Shanghai! Really want to go, I wish college won’t be a hindrance]
Till my next blog =]
