Fashion Democracy
Fashion is one of the largest influence that really creates a big impact in peoples lives. Some make it for a living, some does for fun and some use it as a way to express oneself. The common perspective of people about fashion is coutures, runways, expensive clothing brands, etc. They think that to able to achieve “fashion” is through dressing up to reach everyones expectation. None of those are true.
Fashion, whether you like it or not is a part of each and everyone’s lives. It is our way of show casing ourselves in various ways. Fashion always depends on the wearer/designer, we wear clothes in our own way and not let the clothes wear us. What makes fashion is YOU. There many questions that runs in every peoples minds that is full of What if’s,hey! you’ll never know unless you try. Everyday as we face a new day filled with surprises, we ought to face it with a smile, if you failed this time then maybe next time you’ll try harder to succeed. Same with fashion, everyday we face a day of having trouble on what to wear, we stare at our closets wondering what suits best for the whole day, our body type and also the weather. Then I tell you this-WEAR YOU!
If you’re into simple like tees and jeans then go for it! and if you’re a little preppy for dress or skirts then go! No one’s stopping you. Who says I can’t be a princess today and be a rock star tomorrow? Who says I can’t my converse under my dress. Fashion is all about breaking the rules! Now, that’s what I call Fashion Democracy. But in a good way though. For me, Fashion is truly a way of expressing oneself. Peoples feelings/moods may reflect on how they dress, feeling happy? Then expect bright colors, feeling disappointed? Dark shades is up. Don’t underestimate the colors that people wear also how they wear it cause you’ll know more about their personality through it.
You don’t belong? Who says so?! I believe that people is living in fashion their entire lives, they just don’t know it. You can’t judge a person if he/she has fashion with in or not cause FYI he/she does, sometimes, they just don’t feel like it or they are just shy to show it. Your sweater and denim is already a fashion, some people just wore it the right way and some people doesn’t even care what the result is like and that what makes the boundaries people are experiencing in them. Truly fashion is for you to be comfortable and feel wonderful on what your wearing but that doesn’t means sweat shirt and gym pants are your everyday clothing. You need to have respect to yourself especially the body God gave you. If God blessed you with a hour glass body why waste your blessing by wearing sweat shirts all the time! If you have longs legs-which I’m praying to have. Wear appropriate clothing that emphasize your legs in a good way. And if you happen to have a plus-size body, don’t push yourself wearing sizes that smaller than your normal size cause it will make you look bigger. There are various good ways to enjoy God’s blessing and also we shouldn’t put it to waste, we shouldn’t abuse these blessings though.
Not every clothing is for every body type, not every fashion style is for every fashionista, and if the trends are too much of what you wanted, remember, you can always leave it at the hanger and walk away. Now that too is fashion democracy.
